On Monday morning, we decided to go to the "Lake" and spend the night at the cabin. It was just a short ride (1 1/2 hours) north to Meredith, and then on to the Hartshorn cabin. Wow! What a beautiful place. Later that afternoon, Doug took us out on their boat. We got to see some of the wonderful shoreline and beautiful homes. Ebby enjoyed her first boat ride, and also her first swim in the Lake. Lucky dog! That night, we had dinner at a great little pizza place in town called "Archies". We finished the day by taking a long walk toward Black Cat Island, and then we watched the sunset. The area is just beautiful and reminds me so much of Lake Tahoe.
